Some Holiday Season, Huh?

It looks like the radical Islamic killers are at it again. They've killed their biggest enemy, former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

This certainly could turn into a very nasty situation. Pakistan has nukes and the country could destabilize in days.

Fred Thompson has comments here.

These extremeists want to kill us all.

Republican Debate

After watching Wednesday's debate it was very clear that the liberal media has a bias. The questions asked the Democrats in their debate were about issues they support. The questions asked the Republicans Wednesday night were about God, the Bible and abortion. Just another way the left trys to embarrass and demean conservative thinkers.
Don't they know we can see them?

I thought most of the Repubs sounded a lot alike except for Fred Thompson. I really like his stance on illegal immigration and gun control.
I think he's the guy.
Here's what Rush had to say about Fred Thompson after the debates.

Been under the weather...

I just had to open a new post after seeing ABCs Nightline tonight.
They started the show by saying the real estate "bubble" was about to burst and the bottom of the market wasn't going to happen until sometime in 2009!

Needless to say I was captivated! I was anxious to hear what new information they were going to drop on me so I could begin to plan my funeral!

What a left turn! (and I DO mean L-E-F-T!)

They interviewed a guy that has been saying all along, that the real estate boom was only a bubble and that if you looked closely at the numbers, the stock market actually outperformed real estate as a long term investment! Oh My Gawd! Where-o-where did they get this supposed guru?

He's a blogger! That's where! Everybody knows we bloggers are the smartest people in the world, right?

What a doofus! Here's a guy that blogs like the rest of us and is interviewed by a national news organization because he is seen as a real estate guru! What a stupid move by ABC! Do they really think we're(the public) all so dimwitted? I guess some people will be talking around the water cooler tomorrow - Did ya see that Nightline piece on real estate? Man, am I glad I sold that rental property last year! It's for sure going to go way down in value according that expert they interviewed!

Give me a break!

Even after confronting this dude with examples of some people realizing phenominal growth in their real estate holdings, he flatly refuted the profits as being a matter of luck. He said he has been renting for several years and he has done better in the stock market. He went on to say that he would not be buying a home anytime soon - he's going to wait until the market bottom's out!

Yeah... uh, good luck with that strategy dude.

At the end of the piece they revealed his motive. It seems that several years ago he tried unsuccessfully to purchase a Berkeley Hills home and feels that the real estate industry is rigged and has treated him unfairly! Here's a guy that didn't have the cash to outbid the winner for a lovely home in Berkeley, so he goes on a crusade to trash the realestate market by compiling his own catalog of facts supporting his claim that the real estate business is a failed enterprise! Talk about the tail wagging the dog!

This guy is a total nut! And ABC gave him 10 minutes of late "prime time"!

I don't know which is more irresponsible - the dude or ABC!

The real estate market is driven by factors that include supply, demand, economic growth, job growth, and regional and local elements.

Not to mention - location, location, location!
For example: Nobody wants to live in Detroit. Everybody that can afford it, leaves - they all want to live in warmer climates! That home next to the RR tracks is worth half the value of the same home on the lake.
Real estate is a heck-of-a-lot more complicated than just one guy's opinion!

Shame on ABC for purporting this lie on the American Public! Shame on Nightline for wasting valuable TV time with this lefty whacko real estate "guru" from Berkeley!

It's just another example of the media bias in America today. They want to say something bad about our thriving economy and real estate is on everyone's mind - so why not? Anything to make George look bad. We all know that George created all this. He created the "bubble" down there in Houston. And we all know that the "phoney" war in Iraq has distracted him so much that he has not been able to sustain the "manufactured market" so it is crumbling around his feet. Another George Bush Failure!
Will It Ever Stop!?!
I really don't think any of the mainstream media will be satisfied until George is back home in Texas and a liberal democrat is in the White House.
What has this great land become?

The News From San Fran-Sicko...

I doubt if many in America have heard what has been going on out in San Francisco, but we all should pay attention.

It seems that the SF Board of Stupidvisors has seen fit to submit an official "condemnation" of Michael Savage for using what they term as hate speech. In a July 5 broadcast Savage responded to an article that protestors were going to fast to protest immigration poilcies. The response was something like, "let them all starve to death, then the problem will solve itself."

The Board needed a unanimous vote to adopt the resolution, but one desenting member killed the deal. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57170

It continues to amaze me that people in San Francisco can act in the most ridiculous, the most outrageous and now the most Un-American manner.

Once SF was a haven for the outcasts of society, but that was back when it was know as the "Barbary Coast". In the 20th Century SF had taken on a rather luxurious glow in the wake of railroad tycoons and banking giants and had even become respectable as a hard working, blue collar town. The city had a motto of "Can Do" well earned after WW2.

But then the "beat generation" of the 50s and the hippies of the 60s happened. San Francisco started to regain it's "old glory" of being home to the "fruits and nuts" of America.

When I lived there, the town was still a vibrant mix of working class, professionals, and kooks. In the 70s things changed for the worse. The liberal element and the gay element became a very strong force in local government and the climate suddenly became very uncomfortable for working stiffs like me. Many of us moved north to little towns like Novato and Healdsburg. Many of us just left California. I remember thinking at the time, that since AIDS was discovered, everything changed in SF. I no longer felt welcome in my own city.

I have visited several times and each time I die a little. It's so sad to see that jewel by the bay being run by liberal, anti-, anti-, anti-, snobs that believe they have the secrets to living correctly.

Now they're after Savage. They stand so proudly for their right to be gay and their right to be liberal and their right to be independent, but now we see their true face.

They really want to cause harm to Michael! Someone has published the address of his private residence and the mob has seen fit to parade around his house!

They are vile and venomous individuals. According to the above article they have also slandered Savage and if that is proven in a court of law, I hope they burn for it.

San Francisco, you are a mere shadow of your former self.

Poker Anyone?

The Sky Is Falling! The Sky ...
Again?
Will It Ever Stop?!

These liberal democrats just don’t have anything else to say do they?
It’s either George Bush’s fault, Dick Cheney’s fault, or Alberto Gonzales's fault!
But, it’s always bad! This is really getting old.

I would hope that the Democratic Party was above name calling and finger pointing, but it is not to be. They’re sliding further down the slippery slope to oblivion! Soon they will cease to exist as we have known them. They will become the Liberal Party or the Progressive Party or some other version of communism. It’s happening right before our eyes!

Now it’s the economy!
It’s going to hell in a hand basket if you believe the liberals.
You see it’s all about bad credit. Too much bad credit.
And, of course it’s all George Bush’s fault!

As I’ve said before, I believe this irrational view of the real estate market has been propagated by the liberal media. They just can’t stand prosperity. As early as 2000, I was hearing about the “real estate bubble”. It wasn’t just a West Coast thing. It was happening everywhere and people didn’t know what to make of it. Prices were climbing at astronomical rates. In some markets as much as 25% per month! What was causing this phenomena?

The short answer is, the usual suspects, Supply and Demand. Market forces combined to create a very vibrant environment for growth. We were seeing 100,000 new Californians every month! Builders couldn’t build homes fast enough so what inventory we had became very valuable, almost overnight!

Homes that sold for $150,000 in 1999 were selling for $230,000 just a year later!
For the first time, young buyers had easy to get money at their disposal.

90%, 100%, and in some cases even 110% financing was available to first time home buyers!

It was an unbelievable time for real estate professionals. Many of us had never seen such a market! I doubt we will see such a market again. But it was understandable. There simply wasn’t enough good, suitable housing to go around. People wanted NEW! They weren’t going to settle for a thirty year old house that needed lots of repairs, and they didn’t have to. The new homes were available and they were easy to purchase.

Now, the media is crying that the sub-prime mortgage markets are failing. They say the mortgage industry is a bunch of predators that preyed on unsuspecting home buyers. They say that if Uncle Sam doesn’t bail them out the failing markets will affect our entire economy and we will all suffer.
That’s a bunch of BULL!

First, let’s consider the facts. Less than 2% of the sub-prime mortgages are in arrears. That means 98% of the so called sub-prime mortgages are being paid on time! That’s hardly a sign of a failing market!

But, yes it is true that some investors exploited the “easy to get capital game” and took some terrific risks. But isn’t that the Capitalist Way?

With risk comes reward, and sometimes, failure.
If the lenders over extended themselves then they will have to pay the price. If the borrowers have over extended themselves, then they will have a price to pay as well.

The lenders were gambling that the market would continue to grow as it had for the last several years and the borrowers gambled that their home’s value would continue to increase at the 20% per month rate. These people were playing high stakes poker with their house as the chip!

It is not the role of government to bail out these poor poker players!

The role of the government is to protect me and my money, to protect you and your money.

Not to give some of my money to those that took a bad risk!
Not to give some of your money to help a failing institution, that made some very bad decisions, to stay afloat.

This isn’t like the Savings and Loan fiasco of the ’80s. This is simply greed at work. Many of these home owners shouldn’t have been in this poker game to start with. It was only through the availability of “cheap money” that they could even afford the anti.
Many bought houses with only $1000 as a down payment!

They made a terrible call in a very high stakes poker game!
Now they’re going to lose their home because they have max’ed out their credit cards and their adjustable rate loan just went from 4% to 9%. And it may go higher. These sub-prime lenders can adjust rates till the cows come home if they want. But they know they can only go so far and then all is lost.
Suddenly the borrower cannot pay the freight and the lender has to foreclose.
The game is over.

But, the government should not interfere with this process. Let the affected parties fail. That is how societies sort things out. The good things survive and the bad things go away.
The cream comes to the top, as they say.

But of course, the liberals are crying foul. They say it’s all George Bush’s fault. He’s too distracted by the Iraq war to solve this kind of “crisis”. He hasn't been paying attention to domestic affairs.

Mrs. Bill Clinton says we should bail them out. It’s our duty to bail them out.
Others in congress say that we spend billions of dollars for the war in Iraq, why not stop spending for the war and divert the same money to the economy?

These people never quit. I sometimes think that they stay up late every night just to create new ways to blame our President for some new ailment of the country. But, my feeling is that all this is related to the hue and cry over the 2000 election and all things related to George Bush ever since.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out that Mr. Soros is behind all of this. It stinks of manipulation on a grand scale and that is his forte’. He enjoys watching people cringe and wring their hands in worry. I can easily envision Mr. Soros sitting behind his desk with several monitors watching his handiwork play-out over at CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and Move-On.Org. I’m sure he has spent millions to create an atmosphere of mistrust and panic with the hopes of cornering the US Dollar just like he did with the British Pound.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised.

But the sky is not falling! We are not going to lose everything! Our economy is strong and vibrant. Everyone who wants to work has a job. The only industries that are in trouble are the industries that have failed to plan for the future and have taken enormous risk at the wrong time.

My advice is to not listen to the rumor mongers. Do your own research. Stop reading the liberal newspapers and get some real information about our economy and see for yourself how the markets are fairing. From my vantage, the future looks pretty good. I think real estate will continue to appreciate and investors will learn from their mistakes.

Live your life and be kind to your children. Smile everyday. Save a buck when you can, but go ahead a get that new TV.
And remember one important thing ...

Not everyone has the skills to play high stakes poker!

A conservative? Me? You Betcha!

A few days ago a friend and I were discussing the possible choices we had in the upcoming 2008 election. We compared conservative leaning candidates and liberal leaning candidates. Then, he happened to ask me if I had always been a conservative.
It sort of caught me offgard and I had to stop and think about it for a few minutes.

As I pondered the question, I thought that it had to be during the Iran/Contra affair that I stopped being liberal and started leaning right. But afterward, as I considered my answer, I realized that I had been a conservative for much longer than that.

I guess it all started with my Dad. He was ultra right-wing conservative from the get go. That’s all I heard growing up. I didn’t think much about politics though, and then Dad and I had a falling out over something silly, (I think it was about him not believing me when I told him the truth about some vandalism that had occurred. He assumed it was me and my friends, but I defended myself and said it certainly was not! It became a serious split). Anyway it was there that I started to become anti-Dad. Anything he believed in, well... I was going in the other direction as fast as I could run. I didn’t necessarily believe that I was a liberal thinker, I was just anti anything he stood for. What a stupid kid I was.

I went away to college and still didn’t think much about politics at all. Then JFK was shot. We were all very confused. Riots spread throughout the country over civil rights and people were taking sides. Politics was the only thing people talked about. Were you against civil rights? Or were you for civil liberties? It seemed obvious to me that the black man had a genuine gripe, but I still didn’t care very much about it one way or the other.

I still had my head in the sand because of my rift with Dad.

As I watched all the craziness in the world around me, music became a constant distraction. Of course I grew up with Rock ‘n Roll and knew almost every song on the radio, but I started to hear an alternative style of music. I found that the protest movement had a voice and it began to stir some hidden feelings in me. I began to listen to Gil Scott Heron and Bob Marley talk about life, freedom and the world as they saw it.

I knew who “The Man” was and he didn’t look very friendly to me at all, so I championed a liberal view to be “hip” and “cool” and tried to fit in with the “right crowd”.
I was becoming political!

President Johnson didn’t impress me very much at the time and when he decided to not run for re-election, the ‘68 election became a complete zoo. Not my style at all, I was more of a free thinker about political philosophy and I found flaws with much of the “right crowd’s” liberal point of view. In the early ’70s, I was beginning to like what Nixon was doing in the world, but then he changed all that with his shenanigans over at Watergate. Now, I was just mad. I felt totally betrayed, as many of us did at the time. I remember thinking, “you can’t trust any of these hooligan politicians!”

I was so depressed from a failed marriage and all this political unrest around me that I decided to take a break from life – I just dropped out. I went sailing and tried to clear my head. I had a lot of personal stuff creating conflicting messages to my brain and needed to work all this stuff out! Looking back on that time I can see that I was indeed lost and needed some direction...
ANY direction!
But, politics were the furthest thing on my mind.

I began to voice an opinion again in the early ’80s when Mr. Reagan beat that weasel Carter.
I still can’t believe that this country elected that peanut farmer!
It wasn’t that I liked or voted for Reagan, or “Ronnie RayGun” as Gill Scott used to call him, but more that I was fascinated that we had elected an “actor" to be President! I was flabbergasted! So I watched his progress with a wary eye and wondered when he would fail. I knew the mask had to come off sometime!

Then, during Iran/Contra I witnessed Ollie North fall on his sword for the man. What was it that Ollie saw that I didn’t see in Reagan? I kept looking.

At the same time I was starting a new business and was feeling the everyday pressures of entrepreneurship and wondered why my taxes were so high? I started reading the financial page and listened to any news from Wall Street. Suddenly I saw much of the media coverage of news events as a sort of circus instead of hard reporting of the facts that I had been used to. Then it dawned on me...the entertainment business was taking over the news business and I was watching it happen!

And just as suddenly, a ligntning bolt from the blue… I realized that I was a conservative and didn’t even know it!

How did this happen?
Yes, I believed in Mom, apple pie and The Flag, but I thought everyone did? Didn’t they?
You didn’t have to be a conservative or a liberal to be an American.
You just believed in America! Didn’t you?

How wrong I was!

It became painfully obvious that not everyone believed in The Flag!

Some were ready and willing to defile it, and some would even burn it on the courthouse steps!
My blood was boiling!
And, there was ol’ Ollie North sitting before Congress testifying about a bad thing he had done. I wondered, just what did Ollie do to rankle all these powerful people?
They said he sold guns and gave the money to the rebel anti-communists... He did what?
I was beginning to open my eyes at last! I remember thinking, my god… I had been asleep a very long time!

I was going to need to make a few changes in the way I did things!

I registered to vote again. This time I registered as a Republican. Before, I had always written “independent”. I remember thinking, what a joke! Independent my foot! Hell, you’re either for ‘em or against ‘em.
There’s no in-between!

I began to read more newspapers every day. In fact I consciously discarded the newspapers that were slanted to the “left”, and often said to my friends “that rag is a liberal commie-pinko newspaper! They're spreading Anti-American propaganda!"

These words were actually coming out of my mouth. The same mouth that sang along with Gil Scott Heron! I was again shocked, but this time, at myself!
Yes, I was a conservative. And proud of it!

I re-joined the NRA. I forget why I ever dropped out, now? I always enjoyed sport shooting and the outdoors. I certainly understand why some people say they “love the smell of casite in the morning”! Gunpowder and cleaning fluid can be very addictive!

Now, I only listen to conservative media. I prefer Michael Savage for his “take no prisoners” approach to conservative issues. Glenn Beck makes a lot of sense. Of course Rush is now a daily listen because of his outlandish style and wit, not to mention that he is right most of the time about how liberals can’t seem to get out of their own way! Some others rate an occasional listen but those three are my “usual”.

I think one needs to stand and be counted about his beliefs. And, I think conservative media is giving people like me a good “sign post” on the political road map of life.

Many conservatives take the position of not showing up at the polls to “teach them a lesson”. Well, being part of the “silent majority” just means that you’re being ignored. That needs to change.

Grass roots conservatives must become more active in national politics and more vocal about what they believe in. We must be heard over the din of liberal prattle or we don’t count at all!

Michael Savage has it right, “Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder!”

We simply cannot allow the country to be guided by these wimpy, tree hugging, politically correct weasels any longer!
The Feminization of America has to stop!
We need strong leaders to fight against this global threat of radical Islamic terrorism!

The Islamo-Fascists must be stopped or they will destroy us and all we believe in! Only strong-willed leaders can accomplish this and only strong-willed leaders can convince the rest of the world to follow.

I say to you, America, we must stop this bickering amongst ourselves… we must stop this constant snapping at the heels of our President… we must stand together to defend our way of life!

Liberals believe that help will arrive from some distant government outpost. Conservatives know the only help we can expect is our neighbor standing behind us ready with a freshly re-loaded rifle!

Yes, I am a Conservative. I’m just surprised it took me so long to realize it!

Are We There Yet...?

It may seem that we're losing the battle for control of our own lives, but I really don't believe that Conservatives in this wonderful country will let that happen. I pray that it doesn't.

I know the democrats believe they are in power and that they will force legislation through the congress, but they seriously underestimate the will of the people. Democrats keep saying "the people have spoken" when they refer to the Iraq war and to the illegal immigration issue, but that's not quite true, is it? It's only the rush of influence from the media that has swayed public opinion about the war in Iraq. It's only media in-attention to the real issue of illegal immigration that has confused voters. It's all a trumped-up charge against George Bush and republicans. The dems just want the White House again, that all.

For the last several years, democrats have done absolutely nothing but whine and complain. Can you name something they have accomplished? If this global warming thing was so important why didn't Clinton and Gore do something about it in the '90s? If the dems had a solution for illegal immigration, why didn't Bill and Al do something when they controlled the White House?

It's well documented that Clinton had many opportunities to do something about Bin Laden and other threats from islamic terrorists, but all he wanted to do was bomb Kosovo, ruin the economy and meet Lewinsky. The democrats have done nothing constructive for years! But now, they get on the soap box and shout "something must be done!"

I certainly hope that, you, my friends, are smart enough to see through this charade. The only agenda democrats have is the destruction of George Bush! They still believe he stole the 2000 election and that everything he has tried to do since then is corrupt and invalid. Talk about being stuck in the past.

We're at a serious crossroads in our country right now. The electorate is going to need to decide soon on our next president. I realize there isn't much to choose from - on either side of the aisle - but the choice will need to be made after all. Who will it be?

It must be a conservative.
If the liberal wing of the democratic party gets a stronger foothold in American politics we're doomed. Already, Mrs. Bill Clinton has hired the likes of La Raza - (you know them don't you? The Race? That commie-pinko outfit from Mexico?) to sit in on strategic planning for her campaign. What's next? Creating a Communist political wing of the Democrat Party?

And, don't forget this Soros guy. He's another lefty whacko that has more money that God, so you know he is pulling some serious strings trying to influence anybody that will defeat the conservative agenda. You do remember don't you? - He was the guy that nearly broke the Bank of England when he "shorted" the British pound? He is not to be trusted.

We certainly can't let this so-called immigration reform bill stand. It is merely amnesty for lawbreakers. Why on earth would we want to reward illegal activity? We're a nation of laws and with this bill the congress is breaking a very basic law! They are not defending our borders!
And, they go on to reward lawbreakers!
The law is so stupid! They say if illegals register, they will merely pay a fine, get sent home and can then apply for citizenship.
If I were an illegal...why would I want to do that??? I would just continue to live off the system, illegally, and stay under the radar. How does that improve anything?
It makes no sense at all.

These democrats are mentally ill. They really believe they are doing the country a good service by allowing all these illegals to stay here. Who is going to support them? Who will pay for their education? Who will pay for their health care?
You know who, don't you?

This madness has to be stopped. Vote Conservative!
We cannot allow these mentally challenged people to continue to ruin our country.
Stand Up America. Vote Conservative!

Barbarians At The Gate...

It's getting really wierd out here.
Tony Blair is resigning so GW is loosing a very close ally and confidant - Leading Republicans are advising the President to "zip it" about Iraq(they say he's hurting their chances in 2008) - Paris Hilton asks the "guv-er-nator" to pardon her? - There's a fist fight during a performance of the Boston Symphony? - Two disk jockys joke about rapeing Condi Rice, Laura Bush and the Queen? - And, Al Sharpton has been on the TV more in the last month than he has in ten years! My God!
The barbarians are at the gate!

What is going on in our country? Have we all lost our collective mind? Maybe so?

Why are leading republicans wanting to muzzle the president? I'll tell you why - the likes of MSNBC, George Soros, and the liberal mainstream medial have sung the song of doom and gloom for so long that the American people (and their fearless leaders) are starting to believe it! My friends say, "It must be true, everyone is talking about it." And, "You didn't really vote for George Bush did you?" And, "Well, if our leaders lie to us about WMD then how can we expect our children to tell the truth?" I'm appalled!

It seems that no one wants to " do the math" or "do any research" or "just remember just how things really happened". They would rather listen to the drivel spouted on "the drive-by-media". People are being de-sensitized with "shock" reporting and "shock" events. People have been brainwashed by the liberal press that has been spouting this revisionism of the most callous kind - LIES!

What can be done about all this mess?
Republicans need to rally around a candidate that has some common sense, not just general appeal. We may not have a clear choice right now, but if we look real hard we will find one. During the next several months, a candidate will emerge that will become our standard bearer.

Conservatives need to realize that if we don't go to the polls and support even a "bad" choice, we will be saddled with the likes of Mrs. Bill Clinton or that Obama dude. That means conservatives of all walks of life will need to look to the lesser of many evils in the upcoming national election and stand together. It just isn't a matter of choosing the right guy anymore. We need to make sure the democrats don't win!

How do we do that? One way is to begin speaking out against these liberal types with some grass roots campaigning. Conservatives need to show up at town meetings and get vocal. We can't afford to be dismissed as the "silent majority" anymore. We can't afford to have our "conservative voting power" to become "fractionalized" as in past years.
We need to come together to defeat this liberal menace.

If we don't start now, it won't get done. Only a concerted effort to dismiss the liberal whiners will be successful. My friends, we need to act and act now. Talk to your neighbors. Talk to your friends at work. Talk to your friends at your school. Talk with your friends at church. Get them involved with this crisis.
We cannot let the liberals take over the government!

We're at war with Islamo-Fascists that want to destroy our way of life. We desperately need to defeat that threat. Victory can only be achieved by a strong foreign policy and a strong domestic policy. That means we need a strong President and a strong Congress. Whiney, hand wringing, weasel liberals need not apply. It really doesn't matter that we are prosperous if we can't leave the house does it? These Islamo-Fascists want to keep us indoors and take over our world. We can't let that happen. Vote!
Vote Conservative! Vote Republican! Vote Anti-Liberal! But VOTE!

If you stay home to "teach them a lesson" again, it will all be over in an the blink of an eye. The liberals will be in power, we will be attacked again, prosperity will become a dirty word, and every American will be at risk. Get out and Vote!

Conservatives, We Must Stand As One!
Keep America strong!
Vote Conservative!

The Speech GW Should Have Made...

Normally, I start these things out by saying "My Fellow Americans."
... Not doing it this time.

If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore.
I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're not really "fellow Americans" any more, you're something else.

I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit.
Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: there's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people.
I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world, or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours.
And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out!

Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media. Polls show that the majority of you think the economy is in the tank. And that's despite record numbers of homeowners including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners.

And while we're mentioning minorities, I'll point out that minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the Clinton Administration. I've mentioned all those things before, but it doesn't seem to have sunk in.

Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels and more Americans than ever are participating in these markets. Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world... and, because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.

We face real threats in the world!
And, don't give me this "blood for oil" thing. If I was trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell.

And don't give me this "Bush Lied - People Died" crap either. If I was the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered'.

Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty. Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named 'Clinton' established that policy.
Bet you didn't know that, did you?

You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off.
We won that war. And we won it because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to outspend them and out-tech them.

That's not the case this time.
The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive.
In fact, they want to die.
That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can.
But they are committed to do just that. They want to kill you. And the bastards are all over the globe!

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11... but you're not. That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that.

When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor'.

Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops. Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to acut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dammit, you might just as well Fedex a grenade launcher to a Jihadist.
It amounts to the same thing.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times or on NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol.

I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail your lazy ass out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.

So I quit. I' m going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there (something Al Gore could only dream about) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President.
You asked for it.

Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there're just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.

So that's it.
God bless what's left of America . Some of you know what I mean.
The rest of you, **** off.

This was exerpted from an anomynous source.

Soros at it again!

First Imus, now Savage.

Veto This!

Well the sick misguided liberals in the Democratic Party got their way. President Bush has had to veto the bill that funded our brave troops fighting terrorism.
The Dems had so much pork in the bill... not to mention their "weasel surrender" demand that a strict timetable be placed on the withdrawal of forces from Iraq, that it had to be done.

Listen Dems, either we fight or we go home. If we go home now do you want to cope with the stigma that the US ran from a fight? Do you want the legacy of having had the chance to beat back the terrorists but you only let them get stronger? Do you really want the Middle East to collapse? I really don't think you want any of that.

But what do you want really? I know... you want George Bush's head on a pike don't you? You will do anything to make sure George Bush is perceived as a failure. You will create any atmosphere, even one of treason, to attain that goal won't you? You people are sick and mentally disturbed.

It was just mentioned on CNN that the radical left-wing group MoveOn.org has asked for an impromptu "emergency" march on Washington for today. Protestors are supposed to bring pots and pans to beat on to let Mr. Bush know their displeasure with his veto of their "pork barrel weasel surrender" bill. I hope 50,000 people show up and the TV cameras are present. That way we can all see just who these weasels really are.

Huh...?

Nothing...nothing...nothing. I havn't seen or heard anything of note for the last few weeks!

Who want's to talk about that obnoxious R. O'Doggie? Not me. All I can say about her is... get her off the TV! I'm tired of hearing the things she says and I'm tired of hearing so much media air given to her treasonist blather. Done!

What other news? Oh yes, Dingey Harry saying that "the war was lost". Some people just can't speak without putting their foot in their mouth! What a doofus.

Oh yes. Hillary. Can't forget Hillary can we. She must feel right at home when she aligns herself with the likes of Rhev-rend Al Sharpton. He may just get her elected after all. Talk about a deal with the devil!

Oh I remember. There was something of note after all. It seems the shooting at VA Tech has opened some eyes to the stupidity of gub control. There seems to be some stirrings of common sense from places and people who often can't spell the phrase. http://www.nssf.org/news/fromBP.cfm?BPseq=210&AoI=media

It seems that FOX has nothing better to show us than the token "LA auto theft and high speed chase" for four hours every day. Will it ever end? The story is that the LAPD has "strict" rules of engagement for car chases. If the driver isn't presenting a danger or threat to the community, then they just let him drive on and on and on... The local media outlets love it. It fills their air time with "facinating real life drama". Stuff you can't buy at any price! Oh the horror! The horror! Brando was right.

I guess we're all waiting for the Presidential veto of the troop pull out/troop funding bill, huh? So much excitement... I think I'll go to the beach...

Sad, sad day. What could have caused a kid to loose his mind and murder all those other kids? Is it a lack of respect for life? Is it a total disregard of morality? Is it the "sexing" of our young girls. Or is it stress and the pressure of growing up in this violent, media saturated, instant gratification driven, moving-way-to-fast culture of ours! What a horrific thing that has happened.

I was thinking about Don Imus and his lamentations, but, I think he got what he deserved. Although it was unfortunate that the weasels Sharpton and Jackson got so much media attention. Both of those punk thugs need to be taken out behind the barn and... well you know.

I was thinking about the Duke boys that have had their lives ruined by that overzealous radical loose cannon Nifong fella. But they sort of brought it on themselves too. Frat parties are OK I guess, but didn't they learn anything from "girls gone wild"? You just can't behave like that and go unnoticed by society. There is a price to pay when you get reckless.

I was thinking about the British people in boats(I'm loathe to call them sailors!) that were captured by the evil snakes in Iran. I still wonder why those satanic dogs let them go home?

But none of it seems to matter on such a sad, sad day.

The sky is falling! The sky is… The…

Since 2002 I have heard nothing but doom and gloom about the real estate market. First it was, “I’ve never seen a market like this!” Then it was “This market can’t last, it’s a freak market!” Of course they all said it was interest rates that caused the surge in activity and that would soon change when rates went up. Finally, it was “When do you think this housing bubble will burst?” For years it seemed we talked about nothing but the bursting bubble!

I have advocated all along that there was no bubble at all and that the “housing boom” was being caused by traditional market conditions like supply and demand, rising expendable income and job growth. And while many said it was low interest rates, I didn’t agree.

Now, in 2007, we see that it was never interest rates and it was indeed growth! As a matter of fact we had so much growth that the FED has tried to stymie the so called “excessiveness” of the economy so inflation would not rear it’s ugly head. Personally, I think they almost killed the golden goose with their efforts, but that is not the worst to come out of this madness.

I can understand people who want to manipulate the course of events for their own gain, after all that’s what most sporting events are about. Of course they can’t cheat, but, a good team will try to make the other team play a style that is uncomfortable or psych them into doing something that will give their team an edge.

But this business of manipulating the course of events for spite and vengeance is not only mean spirited but it is downright low-life and un-American!

I think that is just what has happened! Since 2002, most of the liberal media have been saying things like, “the housing bubble will soon burst”, “this bubble can’t last”, “some markets are going to be hit harder than others”, and “will you be ready when the bubble bursts?” They can’t stand prosperity, especially when it comes on President Bush’s watch.

Mr. Bush is in their eyes corrupt, contemptible and illegitimate. They have tried to discredit him and anything he has been associated with since the 2000 election. Remember “all the votes must be counted”? Well, the liberals are still very bitter.

Liberals have blamed George Bush for everything from the Iraq war, to the Gulf Coast hurricanes, to the Europeans hating us, to the corruption in government! It’s all George’s fault!

Now, the media’s vengeful ways have glommed on to this “real estate bubble” thing and have run it into the the ground! The result is the doom and gloom pundits have come close to winning the fight – the bursting bubble has nearly become a self fulfilling prophecy! They have single-handedly caused a real estate freeze! Buyers in America are scared to death! The home buying public wonders if the bubble has indeed burst? Or, is the worst yet to come?

Some home buyers say that they might just wait until next summer, or even wait until after the election to make that home purchase. Surely we will have seen the bottom by then, they say. Others are not so positive. They are sure the bottom will fall out of the pricing soon and we will definitely see a recession or even a depression!
I say BUNK!

I say, wake up and smell the coffee America! Stop listening to the left leaning media and do your own research. Look at home pricing in your own neighborhood. You will then find that prices have appreciated at the rate of 20% per year or more in some areas for each of the last six years! That’s a significant increase in value!

Even with all this doom and gloom we still have the regular, normal rate of appreciation at 3-4% per year right now, in early 2007. This market hasn’t gone away. There was no bubble! People are just scared to death by the media’s constant nay saying and are just staying put.

Remember, we’re in a global war with terrorist dogs that will stop at nothing to kill us and want to destroy our way of life. They want to shape the world in their own vision or die trying. I say OK, fine – let me help you die! But this war on terror doesn’t have a direct effect on the value of real estate unless they actually bomb San Francisco or LA or Chicago or New York, again!

Fear does not control pricing unless you let it! Let Mr. Bush and the troops do their job and the terrorists will be stopped. We need to do our job and be concerned with our everyday living and continue to support the US economy and support our position in the global market place! We need to continue living the way we always have! The American Way!

We can’t let the nay sayers and the prophets of doom and gloom control our lives. It’s our money and we have the right to invest it how we want. For me, I want to invest it in America. I want to invest in American homes. I’m ready to sell the one I have, buy another and fix it up nicely, then, do it again!
American real estate – the best investment in the world!

Congratulations Zach!

Zach Johnson wins the Master's Golf Tournement - Fantastic!
Anybody but Woods!

Better lucky than good?

So what happened Tony? Did you get lucky? Or was there some dark ops event that threatened Iran into releasing the "hostages"?
I suspect that somebody in the Iranian government had second thoughts about what they had done and as they say, "cooler heads prevailed". At least that's what I want to believe.

I still don't trust those dogs nor do I believe anything they say. And I can't believe that Mr. Blair did or said anything to secure the release of the sailors. It's just not in his MO to get that tough - after all he's no Maggie Thatcher! So how did they get to come home? Why did Iran suddenly give in? Maybe we'll never know what caused the reversal of fortune, but I'm very happy for the sailors and their families.

Maybe being lucky isn't such a bad thing?

Wednesday, April 4, 2007

Yo...Tony!

So Tony... what's it been - 15 days?
Are you going to do something or just sit there?
This evil dog and his conniving mullah's have somehow backed you into a corner haven't they?
They release the "sailors" and they win. They keep the "sailors" and they still win. They kill the "sailors" and they win again! You just don't seem to get it do you Mr. Blair?!

Unless YOU do something you will lose! These Persians have been at this game for 5000 years! It's what they do! Not only do they do it well, it's ALL they do! Lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, connive, cajole, trick, and, did I mention LIE?!

And, by the way, do these individual British "sailors" deserve the title? They seem more like lambs or wimps or cowards to me. The British sailors of years gone by are spinning in their collective grave over this cowardice! Why didn't they resist? Ohhh... they had orders you say. Orders to not engage any Iranian craft? Then what the hell were they doing so close to Iranian waters in the first place? Didn't anyone use the computer war program at 10 Downing to simulate this event? I guess not.

What a bunch of weasels the British have become. I have several Brit friends, and if I ever hear any of them say or sing "Britiana Rules The Waves", I'm gonna slug them in the mouth!

Wednesday, March 28, 2007

OK, Mr Blair... Are You Going To Do Anything?

Day 6 and counting.
I can't believe that the British have done nothing to retrieve their sailors from the outlaw regime of Iran! The Brits need to get "geared up" soon if the expect to have their sailors home by Christmas!

These Iranian dogs will do anything they like, anywhere they can, and to anybody they choose. They have no concept of loyalty to the Geneva Convention. They have no understanding of The Rule of Law. They have no other reason to exist than to shake their fist at the West and say, See, you cannot rule us!

Since the West has threatened their insistence on having nuclear weapons, they will strike out in their evil, cowardly ways to gain leverage against that threat any way they can. That means supplying terrorists in Iraq. That means supporting terrorism in Lebanon. That means kidnapping Brits. I won't be surprised if they kidnap some Americans soon.

These weasels cannot be trusted to do anything but terrorize the world. That is all they know. Iranian history is full of terror acts, blood letting, treachery, deceit, theft and a penchant for twisting the truth to suit the current ruling gang of butchers.

Mr. Blair, you're going to need to do something soon. Get those people back home by hook or by crook before we are watching their bodies being dragged through Tehran.

Say It Ain't So... Joe's Out?

ESPN has fired Joe Theisman at Monday Night Football. Bad move.
He's to be replaced by "Jaws", Ron Jaworski to sit along side Mike Tirico and Tony Kornheiser. I don't know who's in charge of personell over there at ESPN, but they sure are mucking it up!

It's always a learning process when you cast a new show, and even though MNF has been around a long time, it's a "new show" for ESPN. (They took over the franchise when ABC went to Sunday night coverage of the NFL.) I feel they made a mis-step when they brought Tirico(a TV guy) as anchor and added Kornheiser(a writer guy) as the "color" commentator. Theisman was the only one in the booth that had any real world football experience. Word has it that ESPN wanted to "go in a different direction". Hell, anybody with eyes could see that the threesome wasn't working out. Rumor was that Kornheiser and Theisman didn't fit well together and ESPN liked Kornheiser better, so Joe is out. Go figure.

Joe will be sorely missed. I think they should have kept Joe and fired the other two guys. Tirico is flat and often dreary. Kornheiser seems to think his point of view is actually funny. Get real Tony.

Kornheiser's drivel works OK when he's with Michael Wilbon on ESPN's Pardon The Interruption, but just OK. On his own, he's just another smart assed writer that thinks he knows TV, and thinks he has a wonderful sense of humor. He doesn't seem to realize that it's Wilbon who makes that show work.

I guess it's just another sign of the times - all the trusted and loved franchises of TV land are going by the wayside as new blood takes over programming and operations. One would think that this new blood would at least have a clue as to what us viewers like. Obviously they don't.

Another reason to get DirecTV and their NFL package, and bypass this train wreck altogether!

What the...

So let me get this straight. John Edwards and his wife call a press conference to say that he is not leaving the upcoming Presidential race or even suspending his efforts, because the wife has re-occuring cancer.
Is that about it?

So why the press conference? Why is the press conference being touted as a show of strength by Mr. and Mrs. Edwards? Why is he making a big deal out of his wife's illness - just to re-affirm his candidacy? So it's all about him - not her?

Oh - I get it. It's a political stunt! My god, is nothing sacred anymore?! This doofus and his sick wife would rather embark on a most futile effort to gain the White House instead of circling the wagons around the ill woman and give her all the support she may require? It must be a sign of the times - politicians will do almost anything, even sacrifice their wife's privacy, mental and physical health to gain public office.

Gee... I wish I were a politician. This tactic would have given me a great excuse to put all my loved ones at risk just for my personal gain!

Michael Savage is right! Liberalism IS a mental disorder!

2008 Race...Who?

Ok. It’s a year and a half away, but what do you think about the 2008 election? Do you have any ideas about who may win? Is there anybody that you can think of that may be considered a “dark horse”? Does Hillary have a chance? Who will the Republican candidate be?

Just for fun, I’m listing all the people I can think of that may run for the office of President, (party affiliation isn’t important for this) and I’m going to list them along with their chances of winning, as I see it. If you want to add anyone just post it. Here goes –

Gun Control Law Overturned

I don’t know if you have heard this, but a federal appeals court has recently overturned a 31 year old law that prohibited the ownership of a firearm in the District Of Columbia. The following came from a notice sent out by the National Shooting Sports Foundation on March 12, 2007 -
http://www.twelvehorses.com/ct/EUWLE5/3BLJD5LC/*http_mm_url_mm_www.nssf.org/BP/current
'Watershed Moment for Second Amendment'
COURT: D.C. GUN BAN VIOLATES INDIVIDUAL'S CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS . . . Washington, D.C.'s 31-year-old ban on handguns in the home
is unconstitutional, a federal appeals court ruled Friday. "We conclude that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms," the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said in its 58-page ruling. The court also rejected the argument that the Second Amendment does not apply to the District of Columbia because it is not a state and rejected the law's requirement that gun owners keep firearms disassembled or use trigger locks, making them non-functional. Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF senior vice president and general counsel, called the ruling "a watershed moment for the Second Amendment." Read the ruling.

This can be considered a victory for our side in the war against the anti-gun people. I hope it sends them a message as well - Don’t Tread On The 2nd Amendment!

Give it a rest!

Welcome to my blog.

I’m hoping this will be the beginning of a great adventure.
Time will tell won’t it?

Anyway, the first thing on my mind is the remorse I feel for all Americans.
I have just lived through the saddest six years of my life.

I’ve been on this old rock a long time and I can never remember a sitting president being so vilified. First it was Al Gore, then the late night talk shows, then the liberal media, and now it’s turned into sport. The liberal establishment wants to impeach the President just because he’s the President! To substantiate their cause they have cited every notion one can imagine! He stole two elections. He’s inarticulate. He’s not Presidential “timber”. He chose that “crook” Cheney as his VP. He lied to us about WMD.

It seems that a new item is added to the list every day!

Well, I’ve had enough. This is my country too and I’m going to try my best to shout down the radical left and all it’s irreverent criticism of the President of The United States.

OK. You don’t like the guy. So roll up your sleeves and get out the vote for your guy. And, you you better understand that your guy needs to have a plan to do it better or he doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of gaining the office.

Work your tail off to defeat the Republicans, but don’t wallow in the mud and show your ass to the rest of the world.

This “anti” behavior has severely damaged our country’s reputation overseas and continues to drag through the mud any attempt to feel good about the work our troops are doing to defeat terrorism. What’s your point? Is it that you just hate George Bush? Or that you lost two elections because you had “losers” as candidates? Or do you have some special esoteric reason?
Grow up and Get Over It!

I realize that this criticism is sort of old news, but for me it’s still timely. I keep hearing it every day. It’s in every TV news and talk program and on every radio news and talk station. Our Commander In Chief is under attack by his own people! It’s an appalling situation and it’s not going to change anytime soon.

I really don’t think the liberal left understands the stakes of the game we’re all playing. Certainly not. For if they did, they would not risk the chance of losing the fight just to scream and shriek anti-war slogans and wear anti-Bush t-shirts. No they certainly do not realize the stakes.

For if they did, they would know that we’re in a war with a huge gang of Radical Muslims and they will stop at nothing to kill us all. They want to convert or kill all infidels. That means all the liberal lefties, all the anti-war zealots, and all the screamers will die or convert. Don’t be fooled into thinking the conservatives will escape their wrath either. That’s right, that means you! Convert to Islam or die!

That’s why this vilification of Mr. Bush has to stop. We’re going to need every weapon we have at our disposal to defeat these dogs. Mr. Bush needs our total support to fight this jihad with these mad jackals. They won’t stop until they’re either sitting in the White House or sitting upon their satin pillows cavorting with their 23 virgins!
Regards
Spatha
