Ted Nugent Calls For Public Hanging Of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

Right-wing rocker Ted Nugent has taken to his column to call for the public hanging of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the now-charged Boston Marathon bombers.

The column, titled “Time To Stretch Neck Of Jihadist Punk,” was posted on the right wing website WND over the weekend. Stressing the need for quick justice, he (mostly) avoided his frequent talking points (fighting against gun control, criticizing Democrats and President Obama).

Using his usual colorful language, Nugent refers to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his now-killed brother Tamerlan using the term “voodoo” 13 times in his article, and calls for “stretching their necks” three times.

In the piece, he laments that Tsarnaev will likely spent years in custody before being sentenced: “Justice is supposed to be swift. At least that’s how our Founding Fathers thought it should be,” speculating that, 150 years ago “he would have been swinging from an oak tree in Boston Common no longer than 60 days from the date of his arrest. That would be justice.”

Nugent predicts: “He probably won’t go to trial for more than a year due to court-sanctioned delays. Once he’s found guilty, he will be afforded any number of appeals that will take more years, possibly more than a decade. The young voodoo nut has got a long life in front of him, thanks to America’s screwed-up justice system.”

He cites the trial of Nidal Malik Hasan, set to start May 29 (Hasan is accused of killing 13 soldiers and wounding 32 others at Fort Hood in 2009), as an example of crimes against Americans taking a long time to reach the court.

While “The Nuge” didn’t bring up gun control specifically (though he had a bit to say about it last week), he did note that Hasan’s “voodoo-inspired rampage” took place “in yet another gun-free zone.” Nugent added, “I would have supplied the rope, the lumber for the gallows and gladly pulled the hatch on this soulless rabid dog.”

Citing the speed in which John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated President Lincoln in 1865, was executed (less than three months after the murder), he says, “had our modern system of justice been in play in 1865, Booth’s conspirators would have died in prison of old age instead of having their necks properly stretched.” He laments that the American Justice system “has been hijacked by soulless lawyers and is being terrorized by years and years of intentionally engineered costly delays.”

Nugent closes with, “My dream of real justice would be a July 4 celebration of stringing this son-of-a-b**** up in the Boston Common and letting the crows pick on his rotting flesh. There will be no swift justice for the Boston voodoo punk. He’s got a long life ahead of him. How pathetic.”

Last Monday's horrific terrorist act at The Boston Marathon has left me speachless!

First, our fearless leader says that the bombing was the work of 'Tax Day Protesters", or "Tea Party Members"!  Then the liberal media says, "It was Right Wingers" that set off the bomb!

Then they say that 2 young men from Chechnya were the prime suspects?!?  Of course they say they had 'video evidence' of the two, and put out a nation wide alert for us citizens to find them and call the FBI!

The younger of the 2 went to his school and worked out on Wednesday!  Was he innocent?  Or was he 'playing possum' and trying to blend in and not be considered a suspect?  Do you have any answers?  I sure dont!

Then the two steal a car, get into a gunfight with police where the elder brother is killed many time over, I might add.  And the younger brother gets away?!
How does that happen?

So the younger brother, wounded and hiding is finally found laying in a boat in a back yard.  Has the media and the authorities already convicted these guys?

First, I don't believe ANYTHING the media says.  Second, why let this whole scenario play out on every channel?  Can't the FBI and other crime fighters do this without all the manic publicity?  And third, like their realitives have said, 'they were set-up', or someone has 'framed them'.  Are their realitives that naive?  Or, are they part of the 'terrorist cell'?

Gosh, I hope the younger boy survives his wounds and I hope we can get some answers!

In the mean time, I still live by my bumper sticker...

Media Blackout of NRA 500 Name At Texas Motor Speedway?

Did the AP, ESPN, and Fox Refuse to Mention ‘NRA 500′ by Official Name?  What We Found May Surprise You

 

If you thought that the media was fueling an anti-NRA bias in the wake of the group sponsoring a NASCAR race in Texas, the Associated Press (AP), ESPN, and even reportedly Fox fueled that theory with their handling of the race’s coverage.

The AP wrote an entire article without referencing the race’s official name, the NRA 500.  ESPN’s live, 1am ET edition of SportsCenter did the same thing.

TheBlaze also received several tips from those who watched the race on Fox’s local affiliates saying the network, too, seemed to be erasing the NRA from it’s paid-for position.

But further examination reveals that the three outlets seem to have been simply keeping in line with the way they’ve recently handled official race names, specifically when looking at last week’s race in Martinsville as a comparison.

The coverage and complaints

The AP’s recap of the NRA 500, titled “Kyle Busch gets NASCAR weekend sweep at Texas,” references “Texas Motor Speedway” and “Saturday night in the Sprint Cup race,” while also mentioning the controversy surrounding the “National Rifle Association.”  But it never goes on to mention the full race name.

Similarly, on Saturday’s early morning recap of the race on ESPN the anchors used more generic references to the race being in Texas.  Likewise, the network’s graphics never showed the race’s correct, full name.

The other day, I learned that President Obama has canceled our Mars Rover explorations, along with all other planetary missions. NASA's science mission chief just quit in disgust, and who can blame him? Apparently, even robots' lives are too precious for us to risk these days, so America is giving up the thrill of discovering space.

While I was stewing over the news that the Russians will now take over our Mars missions (the Red Planet is turning that kind of Red), I decided to relax by watching the Super Bowl -- just in time to see the lights blow out.

It's getting humiliating to be American; don't you think?
The only thing we're Number One at anymore is embarrassing ourselves in front of the world. Once upon a time, we were admired as Can-Do America; now we can't even manage to keep on the lights.

Here's a quick list of some things we're giving up these days, with little more than a shrug:
- Making babies (lowest birth rate since 1920).
- Saturday mail delivery.
- The Constitution.
- Hostess Twinkies (though there's a ray of hope for them).
- And the natural order of the sexes.

That last remark could refer to a thousand things, but I'm specifically thinking of the madcap decision to send women into combat.
Who's going to fight to the death to protect the home front when the hottest girls are in the next bunk?

Of course, it only makes sense to send co-eds to fight if you've already given up on the concept of victory, which, in case you haven't noticed, we most definitely have.

Remember when Obama said on TV, chuckling in an ironic-David-Letterman-kind-of-way, that he was "always worried about using the word 'victory,' because, you know, it invokes this notion of Emperor Hirohito coming down and signing a surrender to MacArthur"?

Well, once the Commander-in-Chief openly mocks the very idea of winning wars, we might as well go right ahead and turn the military into one big pajama party of girls and gays.
Why not?

In fact, I breathlessly await the inevitable appearance of Brigadier General RuPaul on the national scene.
But, hey, maybe I'm not giving Obama enough credit.
Maybe Obama's secret plan is to have our enemies laugh themselves to death.

And speaking of enemies, China may have big plans for our natural resources, now that we've decided to give up on them, too.
Obama has been busily locking up our oil and gas supplies, most recently 1.6 million acres of federal land in the oil-rich west.

Journalist Erik Rush reports that Obama and China have secretly brokered a deal in which we'll repay our trillions of dollars of debt by giving China the oil and gas in our federal lands. Sounds crazy, right?
Well, maybe, but lots of crazy things happen to nations that spectacularly give up on fiscal sanity. And running up a $16 trillion debt that's bigger than the entire U.S. economy may sound clever to Paul Krugman, but to us regular folks without Nobel Prizes, it's obviously nuts.

Now that America is a non-stop Giving Up Festival, I guess the day will come when each one of us has to figure out if there's something in our lives that's so precious, so vital, so inalienable, that we just won't give it up, no matter what.
I've thought about this question long and hard, and I hope you won't judge me as too ridiculously trivial when I tell you what I've decided: it's my hair.

Maybe I'd feel differently if I had dull, stringy locks, but the fact of the matter is I have extremely nice hair, mostly due to constant applications of cash to my stylist Sonia, and I refuse to hide it under a burqa.

And the reason I'm bringing this up is because America is also busily giving up our freedom and surrendering to Islam.
We're letting Iran go nuclear.
We're hoisting the Muslim Brotherhood to power in Egypt and supplying them with F-16 fighter planes and 200 Abrams tanks.
We're passively watching as our Libyan Ambassador gets murdered, raped and dragged through the streets by Al Qaeda thugs.

And here on the home front, we're surrendering like there's no tomorrow, which, practically speaking, there isn't.
We're importing Muslims at record-breaking speeds, doubling their numbers since 9/11, and making Islam the fastest-growing religion in the United States.

We're pretending that jihadi attacks on our troops at Fort Hood and Little Rock, Arkansas are "workplace violence" and "street crime."  And we're making believe that the dangerous Muslim Brotherhood penetration of our government is really a grand, multicultural celebration.

If things keep up, and they will, it's only a matter of time before Shariah Patrols prowl the streets of American cities, the way they're doing right this minute in London. Watch the videos of Muslim men telling British men to get rid of their alcohol and ordering British girls to cover up, and get used to what's coming.

So that's why I've decided: my bottom line is my hair.
No matter how many shariah enforcers roam the streets, I'm going to keep right on publicly exposing my naked, gleaming tresses whenever and wherever I want. And, yes, I may even flounce and flaunt them, too.
So there.

Oh, and here's another thing I'm not giving up: free speech.
Recently, the man who's supposed to be our president proclaimed to the United Nations, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam."
To which I say: Speak for yourself, pal.
I'll slander the prophet of Islam anytime I like.  For instance, right now.
Mohammed stinks.

See? I'm not giving up.

A nation without honor is a nation without a future.

Today the United States finds itself in a quagmire of ever increasing self-doubt and foreboding.  Chief among the factors that have brought America to this point has been the abandonment of a sense of what is right, just and true as it relates to the duty imposed by conscience.

Honor is being abandoned and replaced by duplicity, avarice, self-aggrandizement, cowardice, and an unbridled lust for power and notoriety.

These characteristics are symptomatic of the bulk of the American governing class that has increasingly adopted, as their sacrosanct tenet, the concept that the end justifies the means.  

In their position atop the societal pyramid they have been devastatingly influential in undermining the morality and integrity of the citizenry.  As Herbert Hoover once observed: "When there is a lack of honor in government, the morals of the whole people are poisoned."

As the greatest fear of the founding fathers comes to pass -- an overwhelmingly powerful central government -- the base nature of the human race comes increasingly to the fore.  This evolutionary process, while underway for some time, has thoroughly permeated society as the nation is now reaching the tipping point.

Whether in the various state capitols or the once hallowed halls of Congress or the now tarnished grandeur of the White House, the acquisition and retention of political power by any means necessary, and the attendant access to ever larger sums of money, either borrowed, created out of whole cloth or coerced from the taxpayers, has become firmly entrenched in the nation's political psyche.

Party identity notwithstanding, in order to achieve this end, nothing is beyond the pale -- be it fraud, corruption, outright lies, or immorality.

No one person on the American landscape today more epitomizes this descent into dishonor than Barack Obama.

His earliest days in politics were marked with unethical and oftentimes dishonest tactics in eliminating his opposition.  He has revealed an untroubled willingness to prevaricate and make up so-called facts to suit his personal agenda.

He has proven himself to be untrustworthy and a man whose word is meaningless.  His narcissism knows no bounds as he oversees the premeditated decline of the United States concurrent with seeking to transform the nation into his vision of a socialist state.

All the while exploiting his skin color as he calculatingly divides Americans into groups which he coldly and with forethought pits against each other.

The recent re-election campaign of Barack Obama encapsulated all these traits into the strategy employed as he set out to not only personally destroy his opposition by innuendo and falsehoods but to hoodwink the American voter.

Unfortunately, the voters have become receptive to these tactics as they have been conditioned over the past forty years by an education establishment -- dominated by greed, self-absorption and fealty to statist ideology -- to believe that government, as controlled by the American left, is the source of wealth and salvation.

Adding to this indoctrination, the entertainment industry, whose primary concern is an unfettered lifestyle, has slowly but surely convinced a near majority of the people that there are no moral absolutes.

The mainstream media, also concerned with an unfettered lifestyle but more importantly with access to the politically powerful, have chosen sides and become an extension of the state propaganda machinery as well as pawns in the hands of Barack Obama and the Democrats.

Many in the media, also greatly influenced by the education and entertainment establishment, have left any semblance of honor at the doorway of cronyism as they safeguard their standard of living.

Far too many in the corporate and financial sphere have cast their principles aside as they too are increasingly operating their enterprises with the end justifies the means mindset.

Further, as much of the free market is effectively under the thumb of government bureaucrats and politicians, many are convinced that in order to survive and prosper they must "play the game" with Washington D.C. and financially support those who have amassed the power to destroy them.

Others have willing prostituted themselves and openly become crony capitalists eerily reminiscent of the relationship between industry and the government in fascist Italy and Germany.

This debasement of honor has extended its tentacles into many religious institutions who are now preaching the gospel of big government, abortion, euthanasia, and the toleration of any lifestyle.  They are doing so in order to maintain some semblance of a congregation and the income derived from the same as well as groveling before the almighty monolith on the shores of the Potomac River.

The ultimate bulwark of honor and independence is supposed to be the Judiciary. Yet it has become what Thomas Jefferson feared: "an irresponsible body".

Far too many judges have increasingly allowed their personal biases and ideological beliefs to dominate their decision making process as they usurp legislative power.  They have allowed themselves to be swallowed into the vortex of self-aggrandizement and faux omnipotence rather than adhere to the Constitution and act as men and women imbued with humility and honor.

After the defeat in the 2012 presidential election, the primary and only topic of conversation among the conservatives and the Republican Party establishment is how to regain the White House and the Senate in future elections.  These discussions invariably center on tactics and campaign strategy to counter the tactics and campaign strategy of the Democrats.

But all the grand plans to win elections cannot reverse the course the United States is presently on; only by being brutally honest with the American people and offering viable political/economic alternatives as well as emphasizing the overarching importance of honor can the nation be potentially rescued.

That, first and foremost, requires honorable men and women to step forward and suffer the slings and arrows certain to come their way. Unless and until that happens all else is meaningless and America will continue to careen down it's self-destructive path.

When the Supreme Court, or any other court for that matter, makes a ruling in a case they first look for precedent, in other words to see if there has been a court decision rendered on the same subject in the past and usually defer to the old decision in ruling on the case.

The greatest teacher in life is experience; it only takes one time of burning your fingers on a hot stove to know that you never want to touch another one.

The next greatest teacher is observation, paying attention to someone else's experiences and profiting from their wins and losses, trials and errors.

In my generation I have seen the rise and fall of fascism, communism, different experiments in socialism and the kind of downright social and fiscal foolishness that leads to what has recently happened in Greece.

There is an old saying that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

There is at this time a huge debate in our nation about the private ownership of firearms. The president and the anti-gun crowd claim they do not want to do away with private ownership, that they only want to modify the existing laws having to do with assault weapons -which can be construed as anything in your gun cabinet of any heavy caliber - and clips for semiautomatic weapons holding more than 10 bullets.

I submit to you that what is going on here is the first assault on private gun ownership

They will take what ever they can get now and continue to chip away until all you can legally own to protect your family with is a baseball bat.

Did you know that one of the major reasons the Japanese did not attempt to land troops on the American coast during World War Two is because they knew that Americans owned guns and would fight tooth and nail for every inch of shore line.

Hitler disarmed Germany, Stalin disarmed Russia, and Mao disarmed China.

The mainstream media is quick to report any kind of gun violence but omit the stories where lives have been saved by legally owned guns in the hands of good citizens and the stories are many and varied all across the country.

Let's look at some precedent:

In 1997, many Aussies were forced to give up their privately owned firearms. Over 630,000 were turned in to be destroyed as part of a "buyback plan" by the Australian government. Total cost of the buyback? $500,000,000.

One year later, here were the results:

Homicides nationwide: Up 6.2%

Assaults nationwide: Up 9.6%

Armed robberies nationwide: Up 44%

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms went up 300%.

Five years later, a "continued modest decline" in homicides was noted, but what has gone up in the land down under over the past few years is the number of assaults. Overall, assaults are up 40% and sexual assaults are up 20%.

Across the pond, Great Britain passed a handgun ban in 1998. Ten years later, many British "bobbies" are armed for the first time because of the amount of illegal guns in the hands of criminals.

We Are Raising A Generation of Deluded Narcissists

A new analysis of the American Freshman Survey, which has accumulated data for the past 47 years from 9 million young adults, reveals that college students are more likely than ever to call themselves gifted and driven to succeed, even though their test scores and time spent studying are decreasing.

Psychologist Jean Twenge, the lead author of the analysis, is also the author of a study showing that the tendency toward narcissism in students is up 30 percent in the last thirty-odd years.
This data is not unexpected.

I have been writing a great deal over the past few years about the toxic psychological impact of media and technology on children, adolescents and young adults, particularly as it regards turning them into faux celebrities - the equivalent of lead actors in their own fictionalized life stories.

On Facebook, young people can fool themselves into thinking they have hundreds or thousands of “friends.”
- They can delete unflattering comments. 
- They can block anyone who disagrees with them or pokes holes in their inflated self-esteem. 
- They can choose to show the world only flattering, sexy or funny photographs of themselves (dozens of albums full, by the way), “speak” in pithy short posts and publicly connect to movie stars and professional athletes and musicians they “like.”

Using Twitter, young people can pretend they are worth “following,” as though they have real-life fans, when all that is really happening is the mutual fanning of false love and false fame.

Using computer games, our sons and daughters can pretend they are Olympians, Formula 1 drivers, rock stars or sharpshooters.  

And while they can turn off their Wii and Xbox machines and remember they are really in dens and playrooms, on side streets and in triple deckers around America, that is after their hearts have raced and heads have swelled with false pride for “being” something they are not.

On MTV and other networks, young people can see lives just like theirs portrayed on reality TV shows fueled by such incredible self-involvement and self-love that any of the “real-life” characters should really be in psychotherapy to have any chance at anything like a normal life.

These are the psychological drugs of the 21st Century and they are getting our sons and daughters very sick, indeed.

As if to keep up with the unreality of media and technology, in a dizzying paroxysm of self-aggrandizing hype, town sports leagues across the country hand out ribbons and trophies to losing teams, schools inflate grades, energy drinks in giant, colorful cans take over the soft drink market, and psychiatrists hand out Adderall like candy.  

All the while, these adolescents, teens and young adults are watching a Congress that can’t control its manic, euphoric, narcissistic spending... 

- A president that can’t see his way through to applauding genuine and extraordinary achievements in business...

- A society that blames mass killings on guns, not the psychotic people who wield them, and - here no surprise- a stock market that keeps rising and falling like a roller coaster as bubbles inflate and then, inevitably, burst.

That’s really the unavoidable end, by the way. 

False pride can never be sustained. 

The bubble of narcissism is always at risk of bursting.  That’s why young people are higher on drugs than ever, drunker than ever, smoking more, tattooed more, pierced more and having more and more and more sex, earlier and earlier and earlier, raising babies before they can do it well, because it makes them feel special, for a while.  

They’re doing anything to distract themselves from the fact that they feel empty inside and unworthy.

Distractions, however, are temporary, and the truth is eternal. 

Watch for an epidemic of depression and suicidality, not to mention homicidality, as the real self-loathing and hatred of others that lies beneath all this narcissism rises to the surface.  

I see it happening and, no doubt, many of you do, too.   We had better get a plan together to combat this greatest epidemic as it takes shape.  Because it will dwarf the toll of any epidemic we have ever known. And it will be the hardest to defeat. 

Because, by the time we see the scope and destructiveness of this enemy clearly, we will also realize, as the saying goes, that it is us.

We used to tell our kids that TV wasn't 'real', that it was just a 'show'.  Now, with all this 'reality' programming - on nearly EVERY channel, our kids believe TV is REAL again... And that, even they can be 'superstars'!  They even believe that the quirky opinions stated on internet sites are REAL!

And look at their role models... 
Our own President IS ONE OF THEM!

Dr. Ablow is quite right... We need to start now to plan a treatment for these deluded youngsters!

Gun Laws Are For Little People

A week ago on NBC’s Meet the Press, David Gregory brandished on screen a high-capacity magazine. 

To most media experts, a “high-capacity magazine” means an ad-stuffed double issue of Vanity Fair with the triple-page perfume-scented pullouts. 

But apparently in America’s gun-nut gun culture of gun-crazed gun kooks, it’s something else entirely, and it was this latter kind that Mr. Gregory produced in order to taunt Wayne LaPierre of the NRA. As the poster child for America’s gun-crazed gun-kook gun culture, Mr. LaPierre would probably have been more scared by the host waving around a headily perfumed Vanity Fair. 

But that was merely NBC’s first miscalculation. It seems a high-capacity magazine is illegal in the District of Columbia, and the flagrant breach of D.C. gun laws is now under investigation by the police.

This is, declared NYU professor Jay Rosen, “the dumbest media story of 2012.” Why? Because, as CNN’s Howard Kurtz breezily put it, everybody knows David Gregory wasn’t “planning to commit any crimes.”

So what? 
Neither are the overwhelming majority of his fellow high-capacity-magazine-owning Americans. Yet they’re expected to know, as they drive around visiting friends and family over Christmas, the various and contradictory gun laws in different jurisdictions. Ignorantia juris non excusat is one of the oldest concepts in civilized society: Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Back when there was a modest and proportionate number of laws, that was just about doable. But in today’s America there are laws against everything, and any one of us at any time is unknowingly in breach of dozens of them. 

And in this case NBC were informed by the D.C. police that it would be illegal to show the thing on TV, and they went ahead and did it anyway: You’ll never take me alive, copper! You’ll have to pry my high-capacity magazine from my cold dead fingers! When the D.C. SWAT team, the FBI, and the ATF take out NBC News and the whole building goes up in one almighty fireball, David Gregory will be the crazed loon up on the roof like Jimmy Cagney in White Heat: “Made it, Ma! Top of the world!” At last, some actual must-see TV on that lousy network.
